Privacy Policy

surRIHL ("surRIHL," "we," "us") is a creative visual studio. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit surrihl.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information you give us

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, company or artist name, project type, budget range, timeline, and message, along with anything you attach or link to.

Our contact form is processed by Basin (usebasin.com), which delivers submissions to our inbox and sends you an automatic confirmation.

2. Information collected automatically

  • Hosting and security. surrihl.com is hosted on Webflow. Like most websites, our host processes standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited) to deliver and protect the site, and may give us aggregated usage statistics.
  • Cookies and consent. We use CookieYes to ask for and remember your cookie preferences. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie banner or its settings button.
  • Embedded media. Our Works section embeds videos from YouTube (Google), and our showreel plays through Vimeo. When these players load or play, those providers may collect information and set cookies under their own privacy policies.
  • YouTube API Services. Our Works section uses YouTube API Services to list, order, and play our videos. To do this, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and basic device information. We only read public details about our own videos and never access your YouTube account. Google's use of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy, and by watching videos on this site you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
  • Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to understand overall visits, such as page views, referring sites, and country. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other sites.
  • Fonts. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them.
  • Your device. The site stores a few preferences in your browser, such as light or dark mode, recently loaded video lists and titles, and a timestamp that prevents duplicate form submissions. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.

3. How we use information

We use information to reply to inquiries; to plan, quote, and deliver projects; to keep the site secure and working; to understand overall site usage and improve it; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the studio and this site (such as Webflow, Basin, CookieYes, Plausible, Google, Vimeo, and our email provider), with collaborators working on your project when needed, or when required by law. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

5. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails and project correspondence for as long as we need them to respond, work with you, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing papadu@surrihl.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may have additional rights, including the right to contact your local data protection authority. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings or through our cookie banner.

7. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
