surRIHL respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the Service to do the same. This policy explains how to submit copyright infringement notices and counter-notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).

1. Copyright Ownership

All surRIHL visuals and related content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. surRIHL retains all ownership rights. Access is provided under license only.

2. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated contact: papadul@surrihl.com.

Your notice must include the following:

  • Your full name and contact information (email address and phone number if available)
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located (URL or clear location details)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

3. What Happens After We Receive a Notice

After receiving a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and, when appropriate, notify the affected user. surRIHL may also terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

4. Counter-Notice Process

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to papadul@surrihl.com.

A counter-notice should include:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction)
  • Your physical or electronic signature

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant. In some cases, the material may be restored unless the complainant files a legal action.

5. Misrepresentations

Submitting a false or bad-faith notice or counter-notice may result in legal consequences. Please ensure your claims are accurate before submitting.
